Ambushed at their homestead by Sheriff Wydell and a squad of armed men, the Firefly family awakens with guns blazing - yet only Otis and his sister, Baby, manage to escape unharmed. Taking refuge and hostages in a back-road motel, the wanted siblings rendezvous with their deranged partner in crime, Captain Spaulding, killing whoever happens to stand in their way. But as the body count mounts higher, Sheriff Wydell decides to "cross the line" and take the law into his own hands, paving the way for one of the most depraved and terrifying showdowns in cinematic history.

I'm amazed to see the high ranking for this film... I thought anyone would loved the first one would find this to be utter garbage. The visual appeal is there, the blood and violence certainly is gruesome enough for my tastes. The unfortunate thing this movie lacks compared to the original is...
A good soundtrack. I was terribly disappointed to not hear Rob Zombie doing the soundtrack for this. There's nothing wrong with the music in this movie, they are all very solid songs... but not for this style of film. The real slap in the face is Free Bird at the end... you know a movie is struggling for attention when they throw Free Bird in. FREEEEE BIRDDD!!!!
