A lot of people here have rated this film pretty high. I don't understand what's all that good about this movie. It's a decent horror flick at best that accomplishes being way more over the top gory than scary. Also, the twist was just "meh" for me and didn't seem to enhance it as much as everyone that I've read about it believes.

So, I ask, what did you all like about this movie? Why did you rate it so highly? What did I miss?

I agree about the twist, I saw it coming a mile away.

I thought the film up until the twist was a very atmospheric, gritty film that was very well done. The twist, however, was absolutely ridiculous. God I hate twists. Mostly, I blame The Sixth Sense for the innumerable number of films that have implemented lame twists.

I completely agree. It's as if they try to throw a terrible twist in your face to say "look what we did here". I read a ton of people's reviews that said the twist is what made the movie and the parts that aren't logical considering the twist are beautiful because you're supposed to assume it was all in her head.

Also, anyone know why some of it was dubbed and some in subtitles?
