The Dark Knight reunites director Christopher Nolan with star Christian Bale, who returns to continue Batman%u2019s war on crime. With the help of Lieutenant Jim Gordon (Gary Oldman) and District Attorney Harvey Dent (Aaron Eckhart), Batman sets out to destroy organized crime in Gotham for good. The triumvirate proves to be effective, but they soon find themselves prey to a rising criminal mastermind known as the Joker (Heath Ledger), who thrusts Gotham into anarchy and forces the Dark Knight ever closer to crossing the fine line between hero and vigilante.

One of the happiest viewings I've had in all my time watching movie. I had a smile of amazement throughout as if this movie had fulfilled everything I had hoped it would. I wasn't let down by a single second of it and all I could hope for was more, more, more.

See it IMAX for even more perfection. Seriously, drive cross country if you have to, but see it in IMAX.

I've heard talk that Heath Ledger might be receiving an Oscar for his role as The Joker. At first this was slightly hard to believe, I mean, it is, after all, a superhero movie right? After watching this film I'm sold. Truly spectacular, Ledger is true gold. If the entire movie was edited to no plot and only Heath's portrayal of the Joker it would still be worth my 7 bucks. A must see for fans and non-fans alike.

To start off, i wasn't incredibly excited for this movie to come out. Mainly, i guess, because i wasn't a huge fan of Batman Begins. However, i was pleasantly surprised to find that i couldn't find one thing in the film not to like. Between the outstanding performances of the three main characters: Christian Bale, Heath Ledger, and Aaron Eckhart; and the great plot of the movie. I'm not sure how you could not be satisfied with this movie. Having watched this movie twice, i can say that this is a movie that you can sit down and watch over and over and never become bored.
