A struggling father (Will Smith) suffers through poverty with his son (Jaden Smith) as he attempts to turn his life around by becoming a stock broker.

Good story, good message. I think Will Smith once again proved his ability to act in a more serious role and introduced the young but very good acting of his son also. Unfortunately, they were trying and trying and trying for tears and in many cases it left the movie feeling a bit drawn out. Overall I did like the movie a lot and it has been one of the better ones I have seen lately, but I really think it could have used some tweaking.
