Directors Quentin Tarantino and Robert Rodriguez present two full-length movies in a new horror double feature.
In Tarantino's "Death Proof," Austin's hottest DJ, Jungle Julia, sets out into the night to unwind with her two friends Shanna an Arlene. Covertly tracking their moves is Stuntman Mike, a scarred rebel leering from behind the wheel of his muscle car, revving just feet away.

Amazing! I just saw this last night and I have to say, I was a bit worried 3 hours would just be too long. However, both films and the fake trailers fly by. Planet Terror the first of the two, is an amazing, gory and action packed zombie movie. It's awesome to see some old time actors like Josh Brolin (The Goonies, who a few years a go starred in Hollowman, but we won't count that) and Michael Biehn (Aliens, Terminator, The Abyss). The action in Planet terror was amazing. I thought Freddy Rodriquez did a great job of being the bad ass, especially with the scene with the butterfly knives. Death Proof, the film by Tarantino is essentially his shot at a slasher film, it stars Kurt Russell as Stunt-man Mike who follows groups of girls and kills them. This film is soaked in Tarantino's style of witty and engrossing dialogue. The action scenes are top notch and exciting. I would have to say if I were to rate both films seperately, I would score Planet Terror an 10 and Death Proof a 9. The main reason I don't give Death Proof a 10 is I felt Tarantino didn't take advantage of the exploitations like Planet Terror did. Overall the film as a whole is incredible and a must-see!
The first movie, Death Proof, rocked. Planet Terror was filled with too much boring dialouge that had nothing to do with the actual movie, and seemed to drag on until the final car chase. The first movie is definetly worth the money, though.
