A new generation's Ferris Bueller. Smart, funny, interesting and a bit more emotional than Bueller this is a film that almost anyone will enjoy. Anton Yelchin gives a great performance as the quirky and somewhat lost/out of place Charlie Bartlett. His ascension in maturity as he realizes the true value of his popularity power is what really makes this movie hit. Especially as you're able to watch the progression between him and Downey Jr.
Wow was this movie amazing. Downey was just incredible, and Yelchin came on with a personality that shocked us all. A great movie, and a little more intense than you would think.
I wish I hadn't waited so long to watch this movie. It was already mentioned, but Downey and Yelchin gave great performances. And Anton Yelchin and Kat Dennings are on my list of actors/actresses to keep an eye out for.
