Wow!! This film was so incredible. I knew it'd be good, but I wasn't prepared for how awesome it was really going to be. Guillermo Del Toro has clearly been given free reign to let his imagination go wild and someone has agreed to pay him for it. What I love so much though is there's a deeper foundation to his imaginative world. Unlike other run of the mill fantasy and special effects movies, Guillermo has a deep respect for mythology and old-world storytelling and it really ups the ante on a movie like this. You can really tell that "Pan's" style extended into this and it is all the better for it. Bravo!
