Amazing performances from the exciting singer/songwriter and extended interviews with Rufus' producer Marius De Vries as well as a number of his friends and admirers, including Elton John, Keane, Scissor Sisters, Sting, Mark Gatiss (League Of Gentlemen) and Neil Tennant, the documentary is a unique insight into the life of an extraordinary singer and composer. The film shows Rufus in New York at work in the studio, in his home town of Montreal on the eve of an emotional homecoming concert, and features interviews with his mother, the legendary folk singer, Kate McGarrigle, his singer songwriter sister Martha Wainwright and 'Poses' producer Pierre Marchand.
