Crosby & O'Connor are two Broadway luminaries who, while aboard an ocean liner on a transatlantic voyage, happen to be on the lookout for a talented leading lady to star in their new show. A graceful French dancer (Jeanmaire) catches Crosby's eye - and seems to be the perfect choice. Simultaneously, however, O'Connor becomes smitten with an American entertaine (Gaynor), and offers her the role. What will happen when two lovely ladies show up for one promised part? The end result is high-seas high jinks - accompanied by such memorable songs as "All Through The Night," "You're The Top," "I Get A Kick Out Of You," "It's De-Lovely" and the popular title tune. It's a glorious music-filled final voyage with Der Bingle at the helm!
